I write and live in Flagstaff, Arizona. I was born at the University of Chicago, in downtown Chicago, Illinois in 1962, moved to the grape vineyards of Cucamonga, California for almost a year in 5th grade, then got dragged to Phoenix, where I spent nine years in Glendale and later in Tempe. I've been in Flagstaff for the past 22 years.

I met my wife while I was working in the South Activity Center cafeteria at Northern Arizona University. We've been married for 20 years, and have a son, Christopher or "Bonz" as he's mostly known as.

I was a contributing writing to Flagstaff Live! for about eleven years, starting just after the paper began, and am now pursuing freelance work

I'm the singer/songwriter/guitarist in Buddha Witha Gun, and produced our recent debut album.
